Jackson Plaza - The Jackson's Place Series

Set in the heart of the French Quarter is Jackson Square, originally known as the Place d'Armes. This beautiful little square is bordered by historic structures such as the St. Louis Cathedral (the oldest operating cathedral in the nation), the Presbytère and Cabildo (part of the Louisiana State Museums) and the Pontalba Apartments (the oldest apartment buildings in the U.S. and across the street is the famed Café du Monde, serving up New Orleans style beignets and New Orleans special chickory coffee.

This stunning, impressionistic-style mosaic of the square is 46 1/4 x 29 1/4. Impressive fine detail, blended into hand-scultped and designed clay tiles individually created to represent life in New Orleans in times past.   This is an original piece and only 1 is available.

Hand-made tile is adhered to cement board with glass as the sky.  Black grout was used for the town and the street while the grey grout was used for the sky.  A sturdy, black, powdered coated metal frame has a hanging bracket to make installation easy. This piece can be installed inside or outside.

Price inlcudes tax, but does not include shipping and handling: Must contact seller for shipping arrangements and cost - via email at juliebendermosaics@gmail.com or phone at (310) 809-3395. The piece can be seen in person at the studio, located at Jackson's Place Restaurant, San Pedro, CA.  Installation arrangements can be made, as well. Please inquire.
